Home Technology

  Aims  

The Home Technology program of the USC College of Education seeks:

• To provide curricular programs based on Philippine culture and Christian values which will prepare graduates to be competent teachers, managers, and/or health care providers in the community, schools, hospitals, hotels and restaurants;


• To maintain a Practicum program that will reinforce classroom learning experiences;


• To be involved in health and nutrition programs as well as in hospitality and culinary services that would strengthen collaborative linkages with government and non-government organizations including the alumni;


• To provide food and nutrition services to the USC community;


• To undertake health care and wellness projects through formal and non-formal education that would lead to research and publication; and


• To participate in programs of professional associations pertinent to the fields of specialization offered by the Section.
